AN OPEN LETTER TO PRESIDENT OBAMA

Dear President Obama:

 

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me. You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you. 

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive 

Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support. 

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American. 

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll. 

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus don't understand it at its core. 

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others. 

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America’ crowd and deliver this message abroad. 

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style country where the government sector dominates instead of the private sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a government controlled one. 

You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves. 

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living in the world. 

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against certain banks and corporations. 

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider opposing points of view from intelligent people. 

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent and omniscient. 

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do. 

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs, Hannitys, O'Reillys, and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points of view. 

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing. Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

This letter was sent to the NY Times but they never acknowledged it. Big surprise.

Since it hit the Internet, however, it has had over 500,000 hits. Keep it going. All that is necessary for evil to succeed is for good men do nothing. It 's happening right now.

What Obama REALLY INHERITED

The man keeps yapping about what "he inherited."

What did he really inherit?

I know what he inherited: a beautiful country with an outstanding credit rating and gas below $2.00 per gallon.

Did Obama really inherit a mess?

Folks...facts do not lie....but liberals do lie.

You can argue against this if you want to; go right ahead.  But, the facts still remain: we are worse off now than with George Bush.  Say what you will about George Bush, but our country was in much better shape back then.

Obama has apologized for our country's "wrongdoings" against other nations.  That is shameful.  The United States has done more than any other country in the history of the world to help prosper other nations and their people.  No apologies are necessary for doing that.  The U.S is no world bully, we just kick butt, that's all.  No need to mess around when you're dealing with lives.  Right?  Yes, right.

He has slowed down new oil exploration approval to a mere trickle.  We need to drill more and take what is ours to the market and let the ties that bind us to the Middle Eastern dictatorships be cut off permanently.  We don't have to be afraid to do this.

We definitely need a conservative approach to government operations that will reign in the spending and stop the Executive Order ink from flowing.

We are a great country with the greatest people on earth.  We love others, even more than they love us.  We are feared and respected for a reason: we love liberty, we love justice, and we love truth. And we don't mind laying our lives on the line for others, even those that hate us.

These beliefs guide us. Our stance concerning truth and justice and our faith in the Almighty Creator are what has held us together for 235 years.  We do not need to change these things.  Obama told us he wanted to fundamentally transform America.  It's a shame, but he's got a good start anyway.  He is transforming us away from this nation's original foundation of personal liberty, free enterprise, and the voice of the people.  

He must be stopped and the people like him must be taken out of office through your vote.

Only in America -or- This is so Stupid

ONLY IN AMERICA (The new breadwinner in the family) This is preposterous! An emergency room physician told me that a woman in her late 20's came to the ER today with her 8th pregnancy. She told the first doctor she saw: "My Mama told me that I am the breadwinner for the family." He asked her to explain. She said that she can make babies and babies get money from the State for the family. It goes like this: The Grandma calls the Department of Child & Family Services, and states that the unemployed daughter is not capable of caring for all of her kids. DCFS agrees, and tells her the children will need to go into foster care. The Grandma then volunteers to be the foster parent, and receives a check for $1,500 per child each month in Illinois . Total yearly income: $144,000 tax-free and nobody has to go to work! In fact, they get more if there is no husband/father/man in the home! Not to mention free healthcare (Medicaid), plus a monthly card entitling them to free groceries and a voucher for 250 free Obamaphone minutes each month. This does not include WIC and other welfare benefits. Indeed, Grandma was correct that her fertile daughter is the "breadwinner" for the family. This is how the liberal politicians spend our tax dollars. When this generous program was invented in the '60s, the Great Society architects forgot to craft an end date... and now we are hopelessly overrun with people who vote only for those who will continue to keep them on the dole.... No wonder our country is broke! Worse, the Muslims have been paying attention, and by mandating that each Muslim family have eleven children, they will soon replace the voting bloc above and can be running this country within 25 years. Thomas Sowell Gets It

The very smart, very ethical Thomas Sowell (born June 30, 1930) is an American economist, social theorist, political philosopher, and author. He is a National Humanities Medal winner, he advocates laissez-faire economics and writes from a libertarian perspective. He is currently a Rose and Milton Friedman Senior Fellow on Public Policy at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. Sowell was born in North Carolina, but grew up in Harlem, New York. He dropped out of high school, and served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He had received a bachelor's degree from Harvard University in 1958 and a master's degree from Columbia University in 1959. In 1968, he earned his doctorate degree in economics from the University of Chicago. Dr. Sowell has served on the faculties of several universities, including Cornell and University of California, Los Angeles, and worked for "think tanks" such as the Urban Institute. Since 1980 he has worked at the Hoover Institution. He is the author of more than 30 books.

 The following is written by Dr. Sowell, and I quote:

 "The current Occupy Wall Street movement is the best illustration to date of what President Barack Obama's America looks like. It is an America where the lawless, unaccomplished, ignorant and incompetent rule. "It is the America that Obama and the Democratic Party have created with the willing assistance of the American media, Hollywood, unions, universities, the Communist Party of America, the Black Panthers and numerous anti-American foreign entities.

"Barack Obama has brought more destruction upon this country in four years than any other event in the history of our nation, but it is just the beginning of what he and his comrades are capable of.

"The Occupy Wall Street movement is just another step in their plan for the annihilation of America.

"Socialism, in general, has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual cretin could ignore or evade it."
