Cut Federal Government Wages! Hey...That'd Help a Little

How puzzling. 


I just don't understand the rationale behind the belief that this is okay and that if things continue like they are, that all will be well with our Beautiful Nation.

We must vote out the Federal Fat Cats that continue to allow uncontrolled spending to run rampant.

Salary of retired US Presidents .............$450,000 FOR LIFE

Salary of House/Senate members ..........$174,000 FOR LIFE
Salary of Speaker of the House .............$223,500 FOR LIFE
Salary of Majority/Minority Leaders.....$193,400 FOR LIFE

Contrast these bits of information above with these little morose morsels of info below:

The average salary of a soldier DEPLOYED IN AFGHANISTAN is only around $38,000.  They put their lives on the line without the benefit of a Secret Service detail and live in some pretty harsh conditions.

The average income for seniors on SOCIAL SECURITY stands at only $12,000.  Some seniors have ONLY social security to live on because they were never able to save enough money for retirement due to INCREDIBLY HIGH TAXES paid out to the Federal Government year after year after year, decade after decade.  Thousand of dollars given to government.  What a pitiful return on investment.

I'm sorry, but I must be the bearer of bad news and remind you that the biggest Fat Cat of them all, Barry Insane Obummer, will be drawing a retirement salary for the rest of his progressivist life.  What a shame!  What a sham!  Imagine...we will have to pay taxes that ultimately get trickled down to the most-embarrassing "President" we've ever had.  He does not deserve it, not at all.  We should demand that because of his traitorous actions, he should be ineligible for any type of post-presidency profit funded by the American taxpayers.

We hear all of this political babble about “We need to cut costs and balance the budget.”  Blah, blah, blah.  Sure would like to see that take place.

But, here’s an idea:

Take a look again at the salaries of retired politicians.

I think we found where the cuts should be made!

The Thomas Jefferson Mode

Thomas Jefferson had a few choice words about taxes.

Smaller Govt - Balanced Budget -
Decreased Debt - Lower Taxes

The suppression of unnecessary offices, of useless establishments and expenses enabled us to discontinue internal taxes. These covering our land with officers and opening our doors to their intrusions, had already begun that process of domiciliary vexation which, once entered, is scarcely to be restrained from reaching successively every article of produce and property.

If we run into such debts as that we must be taxed in our meat and in our drink, in our necessaries and our comforts, in our labors and our amusements, for our callings and our creeds, as the people of England are, our people, like them, must come to labor sixteen hours in the twenty-four, and give the earnings of fifteen of these to the government for their debts and daily expenses.  And the sixteenth being insufficient to afford us bread, we must live, as they do now, on oatmeal and potatoes, have no time to think, no means of calling the mis-managers to account; but be glad to obtain subsistence by hiring ourselves to rivet their chains around the necks of our fellow sufferers.  And this is the tendency of all human governments. A departure from principle in one instance becomes a precedent for a second, that second for a third, and so on 'til the bulk of the society is reduced to be mere automations of misery, to have no sensibilities left but for sinning and suffering.  And the forehorse of this frightful team is public debt. Taxation follows that, and in its train wretchedness and oppression.

Taxation is, in fact, the most difficult function of government and that against which their citizens are most apt to be refractory (hard and impossible). The general aim is, therefore, to adopt the mode most consonant with the circumstances and sentiments of the country.

See that last part? "Adopt the mode most consonant with the circumstances and sentiments of the country."  I do not know what "mode" our leaders are in, but it is safe to say they are not adopting a mode that's aligned with the sentiments of the country.

Jefferson had a plan.  That plan worked, though there are some who would argue that.  But it really did work.

Thomas Jefferson repealed all internal taxes and ran the government solely from trade tariff revenue.

It was 1800, and with the help of Secretary of the Treasury, Albert Gallatin, the new Republican President set out to change the U.S. fiscal policy.


He wanted to accomplish four things:

• Reduce government expenses,
• Balance the budget, 
• Decrease the national debt, and 
• Alleviate the people's tax burden.

That sounds vaguely familiar, doesn't it?  There was a rumor going around for a while that this was what our NEWLY ELECTED REPUBLICAN CONGRESSMAN were trying to do.

Who do our leaders think they are?  Do they actually think they're better informed, better aligned with the citizen's desires than Thomas Jefferson was in his day?  Come on!  I wish we had just one political leader with as much dedication, conviction, and fortitude that Jefferson had.

Our nation may have progressed technologically, but to think that we are in any way different as a nation when it comes to the effects of taxation on a people that can ill afford it, is just plain stupid.  

I cannot honestly say that our politicians are "stupid" exactly.  They are all smart, or at least educated.  Yes, I know that seems like an oxymoron: Smart politicians.  But, the things they are doing are calculated and precise.  They  know what they are doing with this country.  It's treasonous and should be condemned outright.  It should also be punished.

Cast your vote for punishment when you cast your vote in November of 2012.

The Agenda: The Socialist Infiltration with a Dab of Sharia Law

A recent story from Creeping Sharia posted by creeping has brought focus on yet another plot to undermine our Patriot Way of Life.  This is America!  This is not Iran, Iraq, Libya, or any other Arab nation.  We do not want, nor do we need sharia law or any aspect of their legal interpretation co-mingled within our justice system or our way of life.

Get it out of here!  Leave if you don't like it.  But here's our sham of an Attorney General actually giving audience and entertaining the notion of cutting funding to battle terrorism and allowing it to be a crime to say something against Islam.  Are you INSANE, Mr. Holder?  What is your problem?!  Did you need something to distract people from your illegal activities concerning Fast and Furious?

If we (Americans, middle class, everyday Joe, you, me, your mom & dad, small business owner) don't do something to put a stop to this type of thinking and" progressiveness" by our "leaders" we will soon be stomped out of existence.

Do not be fooled; do not think that this could never happen in our country.  WE are the ones who elected the very leaders that believe in the plan in this article and those same "leaders" are the ones who have appointed their cronies and placed them in charge of the agencies that make the decisions as to whether or not this type of agenda continues to move forward.  

In other words, WE have elected the ones who’ve appointed people who have this plan as their MAIN OBJECTIVE!

This coming election is our VERY LAST CHANCE to once and for all decide how we want our country to be.  I believe that.  I just don’t see how America will recover from another 4 years of socialistic progressivism.  Obama, Uber-Liberals, and George Soros are in a concerted effort to COMPLETELY annihilate the Conservative Core of the United States of America.  Make no mistake about it: if the only way to progress their agenda is to kill you, then brother and sister, they will kill you.

That’s a radical statement, isn’t it?  History’s lessons provide more than enough proof that this can and will happen.  We are not exempt.

It has been an inside job with an under-the-radar approach.  These socialists have infiltrated every corridor of power.  Slowly and surely, very methodically is their approach. 

Do not think that it’s too late.  It’s not.  We, as American Patriots, love this great and beautiful country.  This country is what the world cries out for.  Our way of life, our freedoms, our liberties, our enterprises, these are the models of a truly peaceful, happy, and content citizenry.

VOTE REPUBLICAN - CONSERVATIVE - TEA PARTY -  STRAIGHT ACROSS THE BOARD IN 2012!
